NOVEMBER 12, 2012– The Sequoia Park Zoo Foundation, the non-profit organization that supports the Sequoia Park Zoo, is offering a wide range of animal- and conservation-themed gifts through the Zoo gift shop this holiday season.
“From unique art to animal ‘adoption’ packs, from zoo memberships to Red panda ornaments, there’s a perfect gift for everyone on your list at the Zoo gift shop,” says Foundation President Chuck Dominick. “Plus, Zoo members receive a 10% discount on all purchases, and you don’t have to pay Zoo admission to visit the gift shop.”
Here are some of the gift ideas on offer at the Zoo this holiday season:
- Gift Memberships are a great choice for families. Benefits include free Zoo admission, regular newsletters, and discounts on purchases, classes, rentals, events, and admission to other zoos. Purchase by December 20, 2012 and receive a free black bear plush to include with your gift.
- Adopt-an-Animal for a loved one and let them "share the care" of a Sequoia Park Zoo resident. Adopting an animal provides for habitat improvement and extra treats to enrich the daily lives of the White-handed gibbon, Chilean flamingo, Chacoan peccary, Red panda, American black bear, or Gray fox.
- Gift Shop Goodies include many unique gifts that support conservation, such as African Dog Snare Wire art, Elli Pooh paper products, Red panda ornaments, and Snow Leopard Trust booties, bags and more. Proceeds support animals at the Zoo and conservation programs around the world.
