Sequoia Park Zoo is Now Open!
Several key measures have been implemented as part of our re-opening plan with the County.
These safety measures include requiring staff and guests to wear face coverings, installing directional signage, encouraging social distancing between groups, increasing cleaning and sanitization practices, and closing certain indoor spaces and high touch areas. Please keep reading for more details on what to expect during your visit.
MASKS REQUIRED!
Sequoia Park Zoo will be CLOSED on Christmas Day 12/25. Happy Holidays!
Face Masks are NOW REQUIRED for everyone age 3+. Guests must practice social distancing, wear a mask and we encourage frequent hand washing. There are hand sanitizer stations throughout the Zoo.
The Zoo Gift Shop will remain CLOSED as per Humboldt County’s move to purple tier. The barn in the Barnyard will be closed to the public for the safety of staff in the Barnyard beginning Friday, 11/27.
Ecos Cafe will be CLOSED until Saturday, 12/5/20, with future plans TBA.

Please maintain at least 6 feet distancing between guest social units.
