Cub Club (Ages 5-7)

Cub Club is a wild adventure for the young explorer. During each class we learn about animals through intimate encounters, hands-on exploration, theater, storybooks, art and more.

Fur, Feathers and Scales
Birds of a feather flock together, but what about those furry and scaly critters? This week campers will explore the wondrous world of birds, mammals, reptiles and much more.
Growing Up Wild
From a caterpillar to a butterfly, a tadpole to a frog, or a pup to an otter – animals go through many changes as they grow. Campers will learn about all different kinds of animal families and ways that animals learn to take care of themselves.

Junior Zookeepers
(Ages 8-11)

Hands-on learning about animals including caring for, feeding and making special treats for our zoo ambassadors. Camps cater to diverse learners and always include arts, physical movement and multi-sensory exploration.

If I Ran the Zoo
Ever wonder what it is like to work at the Zoo? From aquarist to zookeeper, gardener to veterinarian – it takes a lot of teamwork to take care of our animal residents. Campers will explore zoo careers and build an exhibit to create a zoo all of their own.
ZSI: Zoo Science Investigation
Put your detective skills to work solving mysteries of the animal world. Examine the clues animals leave behind, investigate the disappearance of endangered species and conduct experiments to solve each day’s challenge.

Stories and Stuffies is on hold until further notice. Please check back to see when we will be able to resume this activity.

Parents and young children are invited to join education staff in the Lamoree Learning Lab on the first Wednesday of each month between September and June from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm for curated stories and quiet activities. Activity is included with paid admission. Stories and Stuffies takes summer vacation for the months of July and August.
